A cat was standing on the median in the middle of a highway. If she unfortunately found herself on one of the tracks, her life would have been in great danger. A couple in a car noticed her and decided to help her.

A cat trapped in the middle of a highway and injured was rescued by a couple, the Brampton Guardian reported .

Victor Reis was at the wheel of his car and accompanied by his wife, heading towards Bradford , Ontario (Canada). They were taking Highway 410 near the city of Brampton when a silhouette in the central reservation caught their attention. “ As we got closer, we noticed that it was a cat ,” says the driver.

It was a female, because it had a calico dress . Felines with tortoiseshell and calico (tortoiseshell and white) coats are, in fact, predominantly cats.

The motorist took the next exit to return to where he discovered it. He and his partner got out of the vehicle and approached the cat very slowly. They were afraid they would scare him into crossing the highway.

They then used a shopping bag to pick her up and get her into their car safely. That’s when they noticed her paws were bleeding.
